Software Management Reviews
Management reviews are carried out by, or on behalf of, the management personnel having direct responsibility for the system. Management reviews identify consistency with and deviations from plans, or adequacies and inadequacies of management procedures.[Wikipedia]
Management reviews consist of an evaluation of a project level plan or project status relative to that plan. The IEEE 730.1-1989 standard stipulates that a minimum of eight types of reviews are to be conducted:
