Export QTP test results to HTML file with the help of Registry Editor

Go to Start->Run.

Type regedit and click ok. A Registry Editor will open.

Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->Mercury Interactive->QuickTest Professional->Logger->Media->Log.

Double click on "Active". Change the Value data from 0 to 1.

Restart QTP.

When you run a test, the results folder that is created by QTP will now contains a Log folder too. This will contain LogFile.html, which will be the HTML version of the report.
