excel.Workbooks.Add() ' create blank workbook
Set workbook = excel.Workbooks(1)

workbook.Sheets(1).Cells(1,1).HorizontalAlignment = -4108 ' xlCenter constant.
workbook.SaveAs("C:\NewFile.xls")
excel.Quit()
