Explain Backup & Recoverability Testing.

Backup and Recoverability testing

Main aim of Backup and Recoverability testing is to verify that the database and software can recover from partial or full system hardware or software failures. These tests are carried out to determine the durability and recoverability levels of the software on each hardware platform.

Another aim of Backup and Recoverability testing is to discover the point to which data can be recovered after a system breakdown.
