When to stop testing?

When to stop testing?

100% testing is impossible. The most often used approach is to stop testing when any one or all of the resources (time, budget, test cases etc) allocated to testing are finished or when reliability meets the requirements.

Give a consideration to these questions before you take the decision to stop testing:

a) Has the software product been validated against requirements?
b) Are there still lots of bugs being found? etc.
