What is Test Design Specification?

Test Design Specification includes:

features to be tested, and
in a way improves the test approach to be used,
identifies the test and
their pass fail criteria.

It contains a unique identifier used to reference the Test Design Specification.

The objective of the test design specification is to identify a set of features to be tested and to describe a group of test cases that will satisfactorily test those features.
