QTP File Menu

Creates a new test, business or scripted component, application area, function library
Open
Opens an existing test, business or scripted component, application area, function library
Close
To close an active function library choose File > Close
Close All Function Libraries
To close all open function libraries:Choose File > Close All Function Libraries
Quality Center Connection
To connect QuickTest to a Quality Center server: Choose File > Quality Center Connection
SaveCtrl+SSaves the active document
Save As
Choose File > Save As to save an existing test / component to a new name or a new location.
Save All
Choose File > Save All to save all the open tests and function libraries.
Enable Editing
It is used to enable editing for an object repository.
When you enable editing for an object repository, it locks the object repository so that it cannot be modified by other users.
Export Test to Zip File
Creates a zip file of the active document
Import Test from Zip File
Imports a document from a zip file.
Convert to Scripted Component
Converts a business component to a scripted component.
Print
Prints an active document.
Print Preview
Choose File > Print Preview to display the Keyword View on screen as it will look when printed.
SettingsOpens Test Settings dialog. You can use the Test Settings dialog box to modify your testing options for the specific test.
Process Guidance ManagementOpens the Process Guidance Management dialog box, enabling you to manage the list of processes that are available in QuickTest.
Recent FileYou can open a recently used test by selecting it from the Recent Files list in the File menu.
Exit
Exit out of QuickTest Professional
